Hey movie lovers and binge-watchers, Disney+ has revealed their lineup for what’s to drop on their streaming service! You can expect a wide variety from Marvel films to throwback shows like Lizzie McGuire, this is something to be EXCITED for.
If you didn’t know already, Disney+ is an upcoming American subscription video-on-demand service owned and operated by The Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer and International division of The Walt Disney Company. With Netflix, Amazon Plus and other streaming services, Disney+ will definitely be another competitor that is getting a ton of buzz.
Disney+ is set to launch Tuesday, November 12, 2019. What’s even better is that the streaming service will only cost $7 a month; a nicer price from what Netflix and HBO are offering.
Disney continues to blow fans away with everything that there is to look forward to with this new streaming service. They are planning to release tons of shows and movies that people are not going to want to miss. For example, the Marvel Universe is coming out with quite a few shows that have to be watched since they connect to the Avengers. Star Wars fans are getting treated to the untitled Obi-Wan Kenobi series with the one and only Ewan McGregor as well as the live-action series The Mandalorian. Even one of our childhood favorites, Lady and the Tramp is coming back in live-action!
Here is everything that is coming our way this November.
Upcoming Television Series:
The Mandalorian – The series will take place a few years after the events of Return of the Jedi and follows a lone Mandalorian gunfighter beyond the reaches of the New Republic.
High School Musical: The Musical – The Series is a mockumentary web television series based on the film series of the same name.
The World According to Jeff Goldblum – As the title gives away, this is a light-hearted documentary series that takes the actor, Jeff Goldblum, on a tour of the world.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars – The next season of the animated Star Wars series will soon be aired in 2020.
Monsters at Work – This will be a spin-off in the Monsters, Inc. franchise as well as a direct sequel to Monsters, Inc.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier – Marvel continues to put fans on their toes with slowly releasing more and more of the upcoming series starring both Sam and Bucky.
Diary of a Female President – This is an upcoming American comedy television series created by Ilana Peña following a 12-year-old Cuban-American girl named Elena, on her way to becoming President of the United States.
Loki – The iconic Loki is getting his own television series that’s driving fans crazy. The series follows the version of Loki who stole the Tesseract and vanished after the Avengers went back in time in Endgame.
WandaVision – The upcoming web series is a sequel to Avengers: Endgame and a crossover/prequel to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It’s the second television series of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
What If…? – This series explores the stories of how the Marvel Universe might have unfolded if key moments in its history had not occurred as they did in mainstream continuity.
Hawkeye – The beloved Hawkeye is starring in his own series, allowing audiences to see the man take on more crime.
Untitled Cassian Andor series – The series will star Diego Luna, who is reprising his role as Cassian Andor, the Rebel spy from Rogue One.
Love, Simon – The teen rom-com film comes is coming back and getting turned into a series following a new student “on his own journey of self-discovery.”
Life and Deaf – The show will be based on a kid growing up in the ‘70s with deaf parents and the mischief that ensues when, as their ears and mouthpiece, he is given the “keys to the kingdom.”
Ms. Marvel – The first Muslim-American superhero to headline her own Marvel comic book, Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, is airing soon! Expect to see her appear more in the Marvel films in the future.
She-Hulk – The green, mean, fighting machine is getting her own tv series, and we couldn’t be more excited to get more information once her air date launches.
Moon Knight – A Batman-like vigilante who might be infused with the power of a moon God is getting their own tv series. The excitement and curiosity building is definitely high.
Untitled Obi-Wan Kenobi series – Ahh, Star Wars fans are getting a kick out of this one. Ewan McGregor is coming back to the LucasFilm creation to pick up his lightsaber and do what he does best. The show will start filming next year.
Lizzie McGuire – Disney kid’s jaws have dropped with this news. Hilary Duff takes back her role-playing a 30-year-old version of the title character as she holds down a job in New York City.
Lady and the Tramp – Dog lovers, another classic is being made into a live-action film!
Noelle – Disney couldn’t forget to add a Christmas film! Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader play the daughter and son of Santa Claus in the new Disney film, Noelle.
Stargirl – Stargirl is an upcoming drama film based on the novel by Jerry Spinelli. The film unfolds Stargirl Caraway, a non-conforming, homeschooled teen’s story who disrupts the environment of an Arizona high school when she enrolls.
Togo – Exciting news, this upcoming film is being directed by Ericson Core and starring Willem Dafoe. The film tells the story of the 1925 Great Race of Mercy when dog-sled teams raced to transport diphtheria serum over nearly 700 miles to the Alaskan town of Nome.
Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made – The film is based on the book series of the same name by Stephan Pastis. A cute story following an 11-year-old boy who runs a local detective agency with his partner who happens to be an imaginary polar bear.
Magic Camp – A banker returns to a magic camp, which he attended years ago as a child, to work as a counselor while also keeping his eye on winning first place in the upcoming competition.
