Premiere: Controverse’s ‘Trauma’ is Finally Here, Watch

After releasing his single ‘Ah Dam’ on all music streaming platforms, rising star Controverse is back with a new freestyle just in time for the new month!

To build momentum for his upcoming project, ‘East New York: The Mixtape’ VOL 2, rapper, singer, and songwriter Controverse, has offered the video to his latest banger, ‘Trauma.’ The visual showcases the Brooklyn native as he gives us an inside look to his current home. The freestyle was also inspired by Meek Mill’s ‘Trauma’, an original track created by Mob Deep.

Controverse says ‘this freestyle is like my “quiet storm freestyle”  from “East New York”. It’s such a staple in hip hop, underground and mainstream to push YOUR PEN! It’s important to see, only because I stripped away all the make up, and sat in my living room. It’s me in rare form GIVING YALL RAP ! PERIODT ! That’s what y’all want right ? RAP. BARS. MUSIC. NOT ALL THAT OTHER SHIT.”

Be sure to look out for Controverse’s project  this May or June. If you haven’t already, stream part one of ‘East New York: The Mixtape,” released earlier in 2018.
