Five time NBA champion Kobe Bryant continues to prove the importance of giving back to the community.
During Women’s History Month in March, the father of three teamed up with the NBA and WBNA to host a clinic for girls at MAMBA Sports Academy. Catered to more than 150 local Los Angeles girls, young minds learn to develop much needed life skills though the various basketball curriculum offered.
During the program, girls ages 7-14 are taught to play basketball in a positive and healthy way. Bryant and his team hope to increase their future opportunities of becoming a coach or take part in some type of athletic leadership.
A typical day personally led by Bryant and Los Angles clinicians begins with a 40 minute drill on the court. Students are taught how to dribble, pass, shoot, and defend.
This is simply another great deed the world needs to recognize.
