Dreamville’s J Cole Teases 2020 Album Release With Presidential Campaign Ad

J Cole to release 2020 album 'The Fall Off"

After a year filled with feature after feature, rapper and songwriter, J. Cole is finally ready to release his album in 2020.

This past weekend Cole headlined the Day N Vegas Festival. During a break in the show, he gave the audience a sneak peak of a trailer for his highly anticipated 6th studio album release; a visual film filled with satire. This video portrays a presidential campaign ad with Cole being promoted as the “candidate you need to vote for”. You can watch the trailer below and see for yourself footage of police, protestors, and lawmakers, before cutting to clips and photos of Cole overlaid with a waving American flag.

“A man whose humility knows no bounds,”

The narrator says over clips of the North Carolina rapper and corresponding visuals. “A man whose pen is so potent, each word of his verses reportedly cost $2,000. We need someone with big ideas and bold solutions. An expert in diplomacy. A candidate that can heal the inter-generational war.”
